Sendero Therapies

Serving Neurodiverse Children in their Natural Context Environments.

Pediatric Community And School Based Occupational, And Physical Therapy Services.

Celebrating 25 years of impacting the lives of children, Sendero Therapies, Inc. is a privately owned pediatric practice dedicated to providing comprehensive care. Our team comprises skilled occupational therapists (OTs), certified occupational therapy assistants (COTAs), physical therapists (PTs), and physical therapy assistants (PTAs).

Specializing in the evaluation, treatment, and management of children—from preschoolers to young adults—with diverse developmental, sensory, motor, neuromuscular, educational, and psychosocial challenges, our practitioners are committed to enhancing functional abilities.

Operating across Northeast Ohio, Sendero’s therapists deliver services in schools, homes, and communities, offering direct intervention and collaborating closely with families and educators to support neurodiverse children across multiple environments.

Our mission is to facilitate opportunities for children, adolescents, and young adults to achieve mastery in developmental tasks, enhance their performance capacity, and attain independence in their home, school, and community settings. Through our demonstrated excellence in community and school-based practices, our aim is to deliver high-quality services that encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Evaluation and treatment provided in collaboration with the child, family, educational instructors, or other pertinent individuals.
  • Development, enhancement, maintenance, or restoration of sensory, motor, perceptual, neuromuscular, or oral-motor functioning, as well as the organization of behavior, adaptive behavior, or psychosocial components of performance.
  • Interventions aimed at fostering development, enhancement, maintenance, or restoration of daily living skills, including play or leisure skills, social skills, academic skills, self-help skills, and prevocational skills.
  • Education of the child, family, educational instructors, or other relevant individuals on implementing appropriate interventions.

These services encompass both structured and unstructured assessments, conducted through skilled and functional observations or formal (standardized) and informal (non-standardized) tests and measurements, meticulously administered and interpreted.
